Arcane Wallet Terms and Agreement

1. Introduction

Welcome to Arcane Wallet (“the Wallet”), a privacy-focused cryptocurrency wallet. By using Arcane Wallet, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Agreement (“Terms”). Please read them carefully before using the Wallet.

2. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Arcane Wallet, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use the Wallet.

3. Privacy and Security

3.1. Arcane Wallet is designed with privacy as a core feature. We implement the following technologies to enhance your privacy:
  • Stealth addresses
  • Private relayers
3.2. While we strive to provide a high level of privacy and security, no system is completely impenetrable. You acknowledge and accept the inherent risks associated with using cryptocurrency wallets and blockchain technology. 3.3. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your private keys and recovery phrases. We do not store or have access to this information. 3.4. By using stealth addresses, you understand that:
  • Each transaction will use a unique, one-time address, making it difficult for outside observers to link multiple transactions to a single wallet.
  • Recipients will need to scan the blockchain with their viewing key to identify transactions sent to them.
3.5. When using private relayers to send transactions:
  • Your IP address and other identifying information are shielded from the blockchain network.
  • There may be a slight delay in transaction processing due to the additional privacy measures.
  • In rare cases, a relayer may fail to broadcast a transaction, requiring you to resend it.
3.6. You acknowledge that while these privacy features significantly enhance transaction privacy, they do not guarantee absolute anonymity. Factors outside our control, such as blockchain analysis techniques or compromised endpoints, may still pose risks to your privacy. 3.7. We continuously work to improve our privacy features, but you understand and accept that the effectiveness of these measures may change over time due to external factors or technological advancements in blockchain analysis.

4. Use of the Wallet

4.1. You must be at least 18 years old to use Arcane Wallet. 4.2. You agree to use the Wallet only for lawful purposes and in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations in your jurisdiction. 4.3. You are solely responsible for any transactions made using your Wallet. 4.4. You agree not to use the Wallet for any illegal activities, including but not limited to money laundering, terrorist financing, or fraud.

5. Wallet Features

5.1. Arcane Wallet supports various privacy-enhancing features. By using these features, you acknowledge that:
  • Transactions may take longer to process due to additional privacy measures.
  • Some features may not be compatible with all blockchain networks or exchanges.
  • Certain privacy features may make it difficult to prove ownership or transaction history to third parties if required.
5.2. We reserve the right to modify, add, or remove features at any time without prior notice.

6. No Custody of Funds

6.1. Arcane Wallet is a non-custodial wallet. We do not have access to or control over your funds, private keys, or recovery phrases. 6.2. You are solely responsible for securing and backing up your private keys and recovery phrases. Loss of this information may result in permanent loss of access to your funds.

7. Third-Party Services

7.1. Arcane Wallet may integrate with or provide links to third-party services. These services are subject to their own terms and conditions. 7.2. We are not responsible for any losses or issues arising from the use of third-party services integrated with or linked from Arcane Wallet.

8. Intellectual Property

8.1. All intellectual property rights in the Wallet, including but not limited to software, designs, and logos, are owned by or licensed to us. 8.2. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of our services or included software without our explicit permission.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

9.1. Arcane Wallet is provided “as is” and “as available” without any warranties of any kind, either express or implied. 9.2. We do not guarantee that the Wallet will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free.

10. Limitation of Liability

10.1. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues. 10.2. Our total liability for any claim arising from or related to these Terms or the use of the Wallet shall not exceed the amount you have paid us, if any, in the past 12 months.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Arcane Wallet, its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses arising out of or in any way connected with your use of the Wallet.

12. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will provide notice of significant changes through the Wallet or via twitter. Your continued use of the Wallet after such modifications constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
