In Arcane Wallet, there are two types of addresses you’ll interact with: Ethereum addresses and 0x0 addresses. Understanding the difference is essential for navigating between public and private transactions.

Understanding Public vs. Shielded Assets in Arcane Wallet
As a privacy-enabled Web3 wallet, Arcane distinguishes between public and shielded assets—understanding the difference is essential to using the wallet effectively.
Public assets are openly linked to your wallet address and fully visible on the blockchain. Anyone can see your balances, transaction history, and timing of transfers. This is the default behavior of most Ethereum-based wallets.
Shielded assets, on the other hand, offer full privacy. These assets are invisible to the public—they can’t be traced to your address, and no one can view your balances or transaction history except you. Shielded assets can only be accessed through the Arcane Wallet.To help you easily identify them, shielded assets are marked with the 0x0 logo on their icon.
Stealth Mode lets you view your private balances and transactions—information that remains hidden from the public. It reveals only what is visible to you, not to anyone else on the blockchain.You can toggle Stealth Mode using the switch located at the bottom left corner of the Arcane Wallet interface. When enabled, it reveals your private balances and transactions.
Relayers are a core component of the 0x0 ecosystem. They ensure that private transactions are broadcast to the network while preserving user anonymity. By acting on behalf of users, relayers help keep your identity and transaction history hidden from the public blockchain.These relayers are operated by the 0x0 community and are compensated with a 0.1% fee of the transaction amount for their service.At any time, you can view the currently selected relayer directly within your wallet, located here:
